My suitemate
who will not be named is bugging the shit out of me!
I know it is small stuff, I know it is dumb and I know I should move on.
But I want to punch her.
A lot.
That is all

Why I Marched
I marched today to prove to myself and others that the voice of the youth cannot be silenced. I marched today because thousands of people could not. I marched for those who died at the hands of those hate them for who they are and those who died at their own hands due to fear. I marched for those who came out to people who loved them and those still in the closet. I marched for myself, my friends, and people I didn’t and will never know. I marched to be seen, I marched to be heard, I marched to make a difference.
While I marched I saw what we used to be, what we are, and what we soon will be. I saw old men and women holding hands. I saw couples with beautiful babies. I saw children standing up for the gay parents who took them in and raised them with love. I saw moms and dads standing up and demanding rights for the children they raised. But most importantly I saw the youth. I saw tens of thousands of youth marching towards equality. Students who believed in themselves. Students who will not stop until everyone had their rights. Students who will work tirelessly, students who will stand up, students who will fight. And best of all I saw that I am one of those students.
I am committing today to be better, be more, be a leader. Are you?
